This week is "Carnaval" in Brazil and I celebrated this important Brazilian holiday with Brazilian friends at the Logan Square Auditorium this past Saturday night! In Brazil, the dancing and music in the streets lasts for 4 days. People practice group dances to special songs with hand-made costumes that are prepared all year long for the special celebration. Do you have a similar celebration in your country?

    I think you have really enjoyed in this moment. In my country we have a great celebration for three days "Mardigras". People dance in the street with special songs, and they wear special clothes. Now, we are celebrating it through Feb 22 to 24, 2009.

    Yes we do but its celebrated by different enthic groups.This celebration is called festivals.its so nice that young people look forward to it every year.
