Spring break is coming!!! It's almost spring break and I am excited to go to my family's small, modest cottage in northern Michigan! It's on a small lake, in the forest, and I love to go there with my family to relax and enjoy nature. You can go golfing, fishing, swimming, shopping, gambling, hiking and much more there! This week is "Carnaval" in Brazil and I celebrated this important Brazilian holiday with Brazilian friends at the Logan Square Auditorium this past Saturday night! In Brazil, the dancing and music in the streets lasts for 4 days. People practice group dances to special songs with hand-made costumes that are prepared all year long for the special celebration.
